Support Center Tips:
- $0 cannot be entered as a price, if you give away free tickets, that can be recorded as Free attendance in the Attendance/Participation section under Program Activity & Audiences
- To get Subscription Ticket Price divide the package price by the number of tickets per package. If your subscription costs $500 for 2 tickets to 4 performances, enter $63 (rounded up from $62.50). $550 / (2 x 5 ) = $62.5, Package Price / Total Tickets.
- To get Ticket/Admission Prices for Individual Members divide the package price by the number of tickets/admission per package. If your package costs $100 and members get 5 tickets/admissions, then you would enter $20 here. $100 / 5 = $20, Package Price / Total Tickets. Or if members get a discount, enter the discounted ticket price here.
- To get Ticket/Admission Prices for Organizational Members divide the package price by the number of tickets/admissions organizations receive. If your organizational member costs $1000 and organizations receive 4 tickets to 5 performances, enter $50 here. $1000 / (4 x 5) = $50, Package Price / Total Tickets. Or if members get a discount, enter the discounted ticket price here.

Programs
Support Center Tips:
- We have provided a definition for every type of program inside the CDP survey by hovering over the question mark "?"
- Distinct Digital Live-streamed: Unique productions or programs offered digitally via live-stream. Only include live programs that had to be watched at a specific time.
- Distinct In-person Offerings: Unique program or productions that took place in person with attendees physically present
- # of times: all instances of each program or production
- Example 1: Theater X performed the musical Dreamgirls during its season last year. Theater X performed the musical a total of 10 times during the season. In the CDP survey, you would enter 1 for distinct offerings and 10 for # of times offered.
- Example 2: Art School X offers an introduction to sculpture class once a week for 7 weeks. In this case, you would enter a one for distinct offerings and enter 7 for # of times offered
- Digital On-demand: Recorded programs that can be viewed at any time/on-demand. Include recordings of programs that you have counted in the previous columns and that were also made available on-demand, as well as programs that were recorded specifically for on-demand viewing.

Program Activity and Audiences Funder Report Narrative
Support Center Tips
- These are brief narrative fields that appear at the end of the Revenue, Expenses, Balance Sheet, and Program Activity & Audiences sections
- We want to clarify that each narrative section is optional, but if you do add information to them, the narrative will appear in your report to all funders
- They will appear for each year in funder reports
- They have a text limit of 500 characters
- The narrative fields are really intended as annotations and explanations of the data in your report
- They are not intended to replace any additional narrative portions of your grant
- We encourage uses to stay focused on explanations of the data in these fields
Customization: This section is on all CDP surveys and will appear on any funder report that is run with this CDP survey included.
Required Fields: None. This section is optional.

Support Center Tips
- This section seeks to identify whether it is your organization’s mission to create, present, or interpret works from a specific ethnic, cultural, or other demographic group (e.g., an African American museum and archive, an LGBTQ choral group, or a women’s dance troupe).
- If your organization creates, presents, or interprets works from a range of different cultural traditions or demographic groups, answer “no” to this question.

Organization Audience
Support Center Tips:
- You should only answer “yes” and select a demographic group if your organization’s mission is focused on serving them, or if individuals from that group make up a significant portion of your overall audience (roughly 25% or more).
- Urban is defined as Located within an urbanized area or cluster with at least 10,000 people. Any area included in the title of a Core Based Statistical Area (CBSA) as designated by the census is considered Urban. For example, Philadelphia is included in the name of the Philadelphia-Camden-Wilmington CBSA.
- Suburban is defined as Areas adjacent to an urban core with a high degree of social and economic integration with the core (often characterized by commuting ties). The census provides a list of Core Based Statistical Areas (CBSAs); generally, any location within a CBSA that is outside of the city(s) included in the name of the CBSA is considered Suburban.
- Rural is defined as Any area that is not considered Urban or Suburban based upon the definitions above.

- Modified programming refers to situations where production or delivery of programmatic content was changed from original intentions to adhere to stay-at-home orders and/or government health guidelines (not including the cessation of all programming).
